VISITORS’ CENTER RECEPTIONIST
Like meeting people from far-off places? Are you an outdoor buff with knowledge of what our area’s businesses have to offer and possess basic computer skills? Do you believe that everyone should be lucky enough to live here? Then you would be a perfect fit for the desk at the Visitors’ Center. This is a paid, part-time position, with weekend hours in the off season and 4 full days during tourist season, between Memorial and Labor Days. Need to have at least 3 employees hired and trained by April. Contact Lisa Hames 765-3361 or stop into U.S. Bank in Quilcene for an application.
VOLUNTEER COMPUTER TEACHER NEEDED
Quilcene Community Center has computers and people who would like to use them. What they don’t have is someone to volunteer a couple of hours a week to introduce people to the magical world of technology. You don’t have to be a geek; many folks just need the basics, like Googling, e-mail etiquette and management, Word, etc. If you happen to know more than that, you would be greatly appreciated by those who don’t. Lend a hand by contacting Bob Rosen rswenson@olycap.org or (360) 765-3321.
